Is what you are ingesting working or not working for you?

Ingestion is the very first step to where all kinds of problems can start. Your ingestion can affect your appetite, cravings, energy levels, mental clarity, and even your emotions.

Appetite, Cravings, & Satiety:
Let me ask you this, after you’ve finished eating, do you feel satisfied? Or do you feel full, too full, and maybe even feel full yet still hungry? Do you have a craving; feel like having something sweet or salty? Do you need to have a snack very shortly after you eat? This can also be a symptom of a problem with ingestion.

Energy Levels & mental Clarity:
Are you renewed and energized? If you are that is fantastic! Are you feeling mentally refreshed, not shaky and have an overall sense of well being, or are you left in a fog? If you are not feeling energized then that is a problem and you need to figure out what you ate that made you feel this way.

Mood
Foods can cause apathy, depression, even withdrawn. Can you believe it? Anxious, fearful, angry, these can be caused by what you are eating as well. (No, this is not a character flaw… I am sure you are a wonderful person. 😀

I have seen people have a reaction to something as simple as lettuce, blueberries, chia seeds, and many other things that you would never think could be bad for you.

This is why I suggest a personal food diary, so you can keep track of what you eat and how you feel afterward and then you can see what foods affect your body in a good way, and what foods affect your body in a bad way.
